Jean-Leon Gerome at The Getty
French painter Jean-Leon Gerome (1824-1904) is currently on exhibition at the Getty until September 12th. Is it weird to say that his academic work looks fresh fresh fresh? Cinematic and inspiring like thumbing through a National Geographic. (p.s. parking is free after 5 on saturday's when the getty is open until 9 and you can enjoy the sunset too). x
