Feather Down Farms

Is it strange to want to take a vacation on a farm? I guess if you think the two words luxury camping are a giant oxymoron then this would not be a fun long weekend for you.  However I love camping (maybe it's the Taurus in me) and when you mix in a hardwood tent-y/cabin on a working farm complete with wood burning stove, sink and toilet!!! then I'm packing up my perfect RL inspired wardrobe.  The only problem is that it's not offered on the west coast yet (it does say more farms to come).  No matter, I think this would be a perfect road trip stop when I head to the Sharon Springs Harvest Festival.
Check out FeatherDown Farms for more info and rates (they say it breaks down to on average aprrox $120 a nite per person...).
