I've been spending so much time in my car lately for work that I daydream of buying a new one just for a change of scenery. Well, a new Old car. Does anyone know if you can turn an old engine into something hybrid (besides diesel to bio-diesel)?

Bronco and the VW Vanagon are my favorite above. There is this guy up the street rebuilding an old truck similar to the ones avbove, but, a hot rod kind of... a truck, but lowered. I think you would appreciate it.
