This is from July 23 Falmouth Enterprise
Police responded to Glenwood Avenue, Falmouth, at 11:17 PM for a domestic disturbance. Police interviewed two teenage women who said they were punched in the face by an 18-year-old man.
The man, Joseph Sims of Avalon Drive, East Falmouth, reportedly admitted to police that he bunched the girls in the face and there was a "bunch of drama."
The girls told the police that Mr. Sims stole a baby chicken from the Barstable County Fair. Mr. Sims initially denied the allegation, according to police, stating that he was confused by the question, and asked if they were referring to a chicken from Stop & Shop.
After further questioning, police said Mr. Sims admitted to taking the chick and was arrested for domestic assault and battery, simple assault and battery, and larceny under $250.
Police took custody of the baby chick and kept it in the dispatchers room in a shoebox for several hours, until an employee from the Barstable County Fair could be located to care for the animal.
