CicLavia is this Sunday again so I hope to see you there! If you haven't been and don't know what I talking about, this is what it's all about...

CicLAvia makes the streets  safe for people to walk, skate, play and ride a bike. There are activities along the route. Shop owners and restaurants are encouraged to open their doors to people along the CicLAvia.
     
About 10 miles of roads are shut down to motorist traffic and you take to the streets like you own the place.  Biking is probably the most popular action but just walking around is a.o.k. too.  Anything but driving is the goal and in a city like LA, it's a lot more fun than you think to really see the streets without any cars.

The art of the bike has outgrew any fashion trend in a long time.  I love to see in person what kind of bikes come out to Ciclavia and to look on line at all the beautiful handcrafted bikes I can't afford.
