Here I am in the Big Easy and what is one of the most obvious things to talk about- the food. Personally, I hate blogs with pics of plates of food your friends ate last night (and didn't invite you to). So this post has nothing to do with food- and all to do with the bathroom.
It didn't occur to me how much I noticed the bathrooms until I came back to set one day and told my friend that we just had a private tour of a new restaurant and after exclaiming we have to go, I added, "The bathroom was so clean and nice!"
With that in mind, here's a list of some local restaurants and their bathrooms....

Elizabeth's in Bywater
FULL blown post Katrina- there's swamp water coming through the floor boards.
In fairness, there are two bathrooms, but the second one was akin to a truckstop.

The Green Goddess- French Quarter
tinsiest bathroom ever with a broken plastic towel bar. no place to put your purse or jacket (no use putting it on the broken towel bar- it falls to the dirty ground)

Sylvain's in French Quarter
Voted BEST bathroom (by jen starzyk)
New York vibe but bigger. clean with cloth disposable towels

Bridge Lounge- Business District
Not bad except the odd placement of a bucket full of toilet paper in the middle of the floor- looks like they're covering up a hole in the ground

The CandleStick Factory
not a restaurant at all but when I went for an event, the "girl's" restroom had two toilets in one room (no walls) so you peed at the same time with strangers.  Strangers who sit right on the public toilet seat.  And don't wash their hands....

Surrey's on Lower Magazine
Somewhat clean bathroom but has the handicap of no window and always smells like a dump
