"The Ultimate Tailgate"

Tommy Hilfger to me has always been the poor man's Ralph Lauren or the rich man's Abercrombie.
But his latest add campaign looks like it's chock full of good styling and inspiration.  "The Ultimate Tailgate" is the first of a series of campaigns about the fictional family of 16, The Hilfigers...."There's a father and mother (often with a Bloody Mary in hand); several children, including a son who was kicked out of boarding school, a daughter who doesn't speak and a Portuguese foreign exchange student who never left; two basset hounds, and a station wagon." Photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Karl Temper, no preppie tartan object is left unturned.  The campaign continues on tommy.com so you see the family's profiles (a silly mishmosh of indie films with classic prep/old money) and make-believe latest antics until the next campaign.
